  • Suitable for vinyl sheet and vinyl tile on concrete and timber subfloors
  • Approximate coverage: 4 to 5 m² per litre, depending on surface and technique
  • Tack time: 5 to 15 minutes at 23°C and 50% RH
  • Sets in 24 hours for light foot traffic and finishing

Where to use

  • Interior installations of vinyl sheet and vinyl tile
  • Most prepared concrete and timber subfloors

Surface preparation

  • Ensure surfaces are dry, smooth, clean and free of dust, oil, paint or contaminants that could limit adhesion.
  • Prime highly porous concrete or timber with a suitable primer as directed by the manufacturer.
  • Level or repair imperfections with a compatible floor leveller or floor repair compound before bonding.

Application

  1. Apply an even coat to the subfloor using a 1.6 × 1.6 × 1.6 mm V notched trowel.
  2. Allow adhesive to become tacky before laying vinyl. Typical tack time is about 10 minutes, longer in cool conditions and shorter in warm conditions. Do not allow a skin to form.
  3. Lay the vinyl into the adhesive.
  4. Roll firmly in both directions to ensure full transfer to the back of the vinyl.

Clean up

  • Clean tools and spills immediately with warm soapy water.
  • Remove dried adhesive with mineral turps.

Conditions and storage

  • Apply between 8°C and 35°C with adequate ventilation.
  • Shelf life: 12 months in unopened container stored at approximately 20°C.

Good to know

  • Use a roller after placement to improve bond and minimise bubbles.
  • Coverage varies with subfloor condition, porosity and trowel technique.

Warranty

Product is guaranteed for 10 years when installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
