Important Information

Before application, ensure materials in the contact area are compatible with the sealant and with each other to prevent damage or discoloration. If in doubt, consult the manufacturers of surrounding substrates.

  • While curing, small amounts of acetic acid are released — ensure good ventilation
  • After curing, the product is odourless and harmless
  • Thicker silicone layers require longer vulcanisation time
  • Not for full-surface bonding unless construction prerequisites are met
  • For layers over 15mm, contact our technical department
  • Avoid contact with bitumen-containing materials or those releasing solvents (e.g. butyl, EPDM, neoprene, bituminous paints)
  • When replacing mould-contaminated joints, remove all old sealant and treat areas with Maxisil Anti-Mildew Spray
